Alternating weekend availability A MUST! Job Summary: Provide compassionate home care to our clients in their homes. Be a good team member. Be reliable. Home Health Aide responsibilities include: * Assist with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing and grooming * Assist with household tasks, such as laundry, light housekeeping and meal preperation * Provide companionship and engage in activities that bring joy to the clients day * Monitor and report any changes in the clients condition or behavior * Work closely with our team and the clients family memebrs and health care providers to ensure seamless care The ideal candidate will have: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience caring for seniors Knowledge of housekeeping activities and meal preperation Ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and the FirstLight team Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain valid auto insurance Ability to read and follow instructions Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal means
