Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Canaan, CT 06018 (Route 7 & Grace Way)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay: $23/hr + 10% Shift Differential | W2
Shift: 12-hour shifts – 7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move palletized products within a distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker equipment.
Load, unload, put away, replenish, and pick palletized products.
Use RF scanners and WMS to maintain inventory accuracy.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain product integrity and support cross-training in other warehouse functions.

Requirements:

1+ year of relevant forklift/distribution experience.
Intermediate experience with high reach or counterbalance forklifts.
Ability to obtain forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
Basic computer, RF scanner, and warehouse management system skills.
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Manhattan WMS experience preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, and lift 50+ lbs as required. Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment in a warehouse environment.
