Job Title: Machine Operator 1

Location: Canaan, CT 06018 (Route 7 & Grace Way)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay: $26/hr + 10% Shift Differential | W2
Shift: C Crew – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Training on day shift required for approximately 3 months before transitioning to nights. Alternating schedule.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to perform routine production and packaging operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform filling, utility, packing, packaging, assembly, labeling, and inspection activities.
• Operate according to standard operating procedures and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.
• Perform basic math and interpret written specifications and instructions in English.
• Work effectively as part of a team and rotate between tasks as needed.
• Follow safety, quality, and attendance requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required; prior industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible/extended hours and maintain reliable attendance.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform different production responsibilities.
