Specific Responsibilities and Duties * Responsible for negotiating with vendors to find quality product at competitive prices and adequate delivery time. * Coordinates the purchase order and bid solicitation process. * Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of the warehouse. * Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. * Responsible for daily inventory stock ordering. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills You'll Need to Succeed Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) * Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. * Knowledge of OSHA storage regulations and hazard chemical labeling and other applicable OSHA requirements. * Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures. * Knowledge of gaming and alcohol beverage control laws and regulations. * Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule. * Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment. * Food & Beverage experience preferred. * Experience using Stratton Warren System preferred. Educational Requirements * Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in purchasing related positions * A two (2) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience. * Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
