Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant performs the task of washing, drying, and folding of the hotel's linens, and distributes them. Also strips vacant guest rooms and collects dirty linen/trash from corridors upon Supervisors directive. Ensures hotel equipment, such as washers, dryers, and chemical dispensing systems are maintained properly and secured. Ensures cleaning supplies and chemicals are used correctly and all bottles are properly labeled in accordance with the chemical policy. Ensures the laundry area is kept clean and lint free. Cleans lint traps daily. Assists in the inventory of linens on a monthly basis. Properly disposes of linen that does not meet company standards. Maintains a record of disposed linens. Communicates with superiors and co-workers about the status of linens and any maintenance issues. Provides safety and security for the hotel and its guests. Follows the hotel key control procedures at all times. Completes any other task requested by a supervisor, including training new associates.

Laundry Attendant shift times are as follows:

8AM-1PM/1PM-7PM (Flexibility for either shift is required, shifts vary based on day and business needs.)

Weekend and Holiday availability is required.

Pay rate: $10-$12 starting pay rate - based on experience

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
