This role primarily operates in a remote setting, providing you with the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from home or within outpatient office environments. Our outpatient clinic is designed to cater to both individual and group therapy sessions, and it fosters collaboration among clinicians dedicated to each child's well-being. We supply all necessary tools and support, ensuring you can focus entirely on providing high-quality care.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in the home environment or facilitate group therapy at our outpatient clinic, focusing on the unique needs of each client.

• Implement therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing anger management, improving coping strategies, and fostering social skills among children to mitigate high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious actions and aggression.
\n
• Support caregivers by enhancing their decision-making skills when navigating behavioral challenges at home, ensuring a harmonious living environment.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to create a unified support system for the child and family.
\n
• Accurately and promptly complete all documentation, including intake evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute suggestions for client care improvements, fostering an environment of teamwork and shared goals.
\n

Your primary focus will be on working with children aged 3 to 20 who experience developmental difficulties and intellectual disabilities. You will also engage with their families, offering support and guidance tailored to their unique challenges. By providing in-home therapy, you will directly observe and influence the child's living circumstances, making positive advancements in their family dynamics and overall well-being.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is mandatory.
\n
• You must possess a valid, unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are essential to meet the clients at various locations as needed.
\n
• Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

• Experience working with positive behavior support methodologies is highly advantageous.
\n
• Prior work experience with children aged 3-20, especially those with intellectual/developmental impairments (I/DD), is preferred.
\n
• Flexibility to work during weekends and availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week in the after-school time frame (4-7 pm) is considered a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, reflective of your qualifications and experience. In addition to your salary, you can expect:
