Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other expenses.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review project plans and specifications.

Analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

Maintain a database of costs and pricing to support future estimates.

Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards during the estimation process.

Provide support during project negotiations and bid submissions.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve any estimation-related queries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

• Experience with preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
• Proficiency in relevant estimation software and tools.
