Property Accountant

About the Job


We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the financial operations of a portfolio of real estate properties. The role involves month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable, budgeting support, and ensuring accurate accounting records in compliance with GAAP.

Location : Pensacola, FL

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process Accounts Payable and prepare journal entries.
  • Prepare financial reports, cash flow analyses, and budget support.
  • Analyze tenant receivables and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Assist with property acquisitions, onboarding, and fixed asset accounting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Property accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting software preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
