Property Accountant

About the Job

We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the financial operations of a portfolio of real estate properties. The role involves month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable, budgeting support, and ensuring accurate accounting records in compliance with GAAP.

Location : Pensacola, FL

Key Responsibilities

Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Process Accounts Payable and prepare journal entries.
Prepare financial reports, cash flow analyses, and budget support.
Analyze tenant receivables and maintain accurate accounting records.
Assist with property acquisitions, onboarding, and fixed asset accounting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of accounting or finance experience.
Property accounting experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting software preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
