Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) in Illinois
• Experience with children diagnosed with Developmental Delay, Specific Learning Disability, and Other Health Impairments
• Familiarity with inclusion and pull-out instructional models preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Previous experience with grades 1st–2nd a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction for a caseload of 12 elementary students (grades 1st–2nd) within an inclusive classroom setting
• Deliver both in-class support and, as needed, targeted pull-out services
• Adapt lessons for a variety of learning abilities and needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
