Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional for a night shift position in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The role involves working three 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, providing comprehensive patient care in a dynamic environment.

Contract Duration

This position offers an 18-week contract with the possibility of extension, requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Key Qualifications

• Must hold a valid permanent Ohio license or a compact state license.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• References must be from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, and should be from the past 12 months.

Job Requirements

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation.
• Travelers must comply with nicotine-free requirements, except for nurses and CSTs, who are exempt temporarily.
• All healthcare professionals, aside from nurses and CSTs, must provide a negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine.
• Background checks are required, and candidates with an open case will not be accepted.

Additional Information

Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a mandatory 6-month break before reapplying, unless otherwise approved. Background checks and prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
