Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Position SummaryAssists with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing receivers/shippers. Processes receiving/shipping documentation. Packages and processes shipments. Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping/receiving supplies.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesLift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs. and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.Places parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbersUses a utility cart, identifies cartons by part number, uses a computer or laptop, cart, cycle counts product, hand scanner and PC.Picking and filling orders using a laptop computerReceive parts and disburse to proper binsMatches paperwork to box and prepares orders for billing / shippingSupport reaching Departmental & Company Key ResultsPerforms other duties as requested, directed or assignedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)0-2 years of related work experienceAbility to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.General Work ExperienceAbility to fluently read, write and speak EnglishWarehouse experienceExperience in operating material handling equipmentBasic Computer KnowledgePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Education: High School Diploma / EquivalentRelocation assistance is not negotiable benefit for this position.
