Accurately report materials, equipment, and hours of work Manage the personnel on the crew Maintain crew, public, regulatory, and safety requirements Operate a variety of power equipment and other machinery as needed Perform other duties as assigned under the direction of the Superintendent or other management Work on commercial and industrial construction sites throughout the Midwest Requirements Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record A CDL is desired but not necessary for hire High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred Must be punctual and dependable Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty and dusty environments Member of a local trade union, or willingness to become a union member, required; union membership is not required prior to hire 3–5 years of experience in the construction trade 2–4 years of experience in a sub-foreman or leadership role Ability to manage own time and other construction industry personnel efficiently Ability to motivate, develop, direct, and lead a team Prior leadership experience Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills in the construction industry, with a focus on safety compliance and efficient personnel management. Possesses the ability to operate various power equipment and machinery while maintaining high standards of work quality.
