Punch-Out & Support Carpenter

The Punch-Out & Support Carpenter is the company's "go where you're needed" person. Your job is to help keep projects moving by filling in the gaps wherever support is needed. Some days you'll be completing punch list items, other days you'll be protecting a customer's home, helping another crew, organizing the warehouse, or delivering materials. If it helps the company move forward, it's part of the job.

What You'll Do

• Be the main point of contact for the Superintendent and Project Manager while working on site.

• Complete punch list items such as:

  • Caulking

  • Drywall repairs

  • Paint touch-ups

  • Trim adjustments

  • Cabinet adjustments

  • Tile and grout repairs

  • General finish carpentry work

• Install and maintain project protection, including Zip Walls, Ram Board, floor paper, plastic, tape, and dust protection.

• Walk projects and fix the small details before the customer sees them.

• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe.

Fill the Gaps

When punch work slows down, you'll jump in wherever the company needs help. This may include:

• Helping carpenters or superintendents on active jobs.

• Cleaning and organizing jobsites.

• Repairing or replacing project protection.

• Moving materials, tools, equipment, or debris.

• Loading and unloading trucks.

• Picking up or delivering materials.

• Organizing the warehouse and keeping tools and equipment clean and ready to use.

• Helping with demolition, prep work, or final cleanup.

• Assisting with any task that helps keep projects moving forward.
