Job Description

The Customer Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing one or more of our Key Customer Accounts.

The Customer Account Manager will process and project manage their assigned account to ensure 100% customer fulfillment.

Represent management in project meetings and on conference calls for technical matters.

Coordinate and implement sales and service project initiatives, primarily relating to: secured card personalization and fulfillment.

Attend production meetings, communicating any concerns related to customer jobs and production capabilities.

The CAM must Order, Track and Manage Collateral Material quotes and purchases.

The CAM must have a comprehensive knowledge of personalization processes and requirements. This will insure that all aspects of the project are considered during pricing and capacity planning activities.

Coordinate closely with both sales and operations to insure seamless response to customer requirements, close adherence to all schedules and optimal profitability.

The CAM will be the sales support for training and client interface. The CAM must remain aware of industry trends, capacity issues, and typical pricing trends.

Job Duties

• Ability to work between several ERP systems.
• Attend Print Design Meetings, reporting changes to internal and external customers, ensuring any changes are represented accurately on job ticket.
• Manage change control, testing and problem resolution.
• Work closely with sales and management on potential projects to insure that capacity and pricing issues are appropriately analyzed and considered.
• Support Sales to write or review customer quotes, pricing matrices and contracts.
• Work with Accounting to synchronize customer numbers for billing of new clients.
• Ensure accuracy in assigning and ordering collateral materials for personalization jobs.
• Creation and assignment of Package IDs
• Attend customer sales meetings and assist with presentations as required.
• Maintain ongoing contact and relationship with customer service to provide needed support.
• Review industry documentation and advise appropriate staff regarding upcoming changes and requirements.
• Work with Purchasing to review component and supply needs.
• Job costing including all aspects of production of cards, carriers and label printing, and affixing.

Job requirements

Educational Requirements

• College Degree a Plus, but not Required
• Project Management Professional Certification or related experience a plus

Experience

• 3-5 Years’ Experience in printing Customer Service, Data Processing and/or Project Management

Key Skills and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of printing process (4 color process)
• Card Personalization knowledge is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of department processes and capabilities.
• Database skills sufficient for purpose: Excel, Access, etc.
• Ability to work independently & oversee multiple tasks and priorities.
• Attention to detail.
• Comprehensive knowledge of required components and supplies to insure cost-effective acquisition and appropriate customer pricing.
• PC skills with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
