Company: Villa Serena Healthcare Center Location: Long Beach, California Job Type: Part-TimeResponsibilities:Provide nursing care to designated residents under the supervision of a Registered NurseAdminister medications as ordered by physician and document accordinglyPerform assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans for residentsParticipate in interdisciplinary team conferences and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionalsDocument resident care accurately and legibly using charting by exceptionMaintain confidentiality and uphold the privacy of residents' medical recordsPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorsRequirements:Minimum of high school degree or equivalentLong-term care experience preferably in a sub-acute settingCurrent licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse by the State of CaliforniaMust be certified in CPRIV certificationAbility to speak, read, and write English effectivelyEmotional maturity, reliability, tact, integrity, and good judgmentAbility to interact effectively with team members, residents, families, and visitorsKnowledge of accreditation and licensing standardsWorking Conditions:Work primarily involves standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, and lifting of residents on a regular basisOccasional loud outbursts by residents may be expectedAbility to hear within normal range and express or exchange ideas frequentlyAbility to accept and carry out responsibilities on a regular basis under the guidance and direction of a nursing supervisorSalary: $33 - $38 HOURLYBenefits:Life InsuranceSame day pay (Tapcheck)Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Holiday PayPaid orientationIf you are a motivated and compassionate LVN looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we invite you to apply!
