Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care for ICU patients, ensuring high standards of safety and clinical excellence. Supervises and collaborates with nursing staff and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and analyze patient data to establish individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement interventions aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery, supervise nursing staff, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a safe and healing environment.
• Perform ongoing evaluations of patient progress and adjust care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent ICU experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
• Have relevant certifications or additional training in critical care nursing preferred.
