Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CVICU) in a regional referral hospital located in Lake Havasu City. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, including those experiencing complex cardiovascular conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. The role offers an opportunity to work in a well-accredited, community-focused facility with strong patient ratios and a supportive environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/04/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certifications, 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or cardiovascular setting, domicile located at least 60 miles from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, and stroke.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required, including coverage in the Emergency Department holding areas as needed.
• Additional Information: The unit features 16 beds with patient ratios of 1:2, equipped with Baxter pumps and electronic health records via Medhost. The working environment emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and clinical excellence. Candidates must adhere to the attendance policy, allowing for one call out per contract with proper documentation for a second incidence.
