Sr. HR Shared Services Specialist

Kansas City, MO | Long-Term Contract | Hybrid Morgan Hunter is partnering with a large, growing organization to add a Senior HR Shared Services Specialist to its HR team. This long-term contract role will focus on evaluating and improving HR service delivery, helping the team streamline processes and build a more scalable approach as the organization continues to grow. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR operations professional who enjoys process improvement, problem-solving, and partnering across HR functions. Responsibilities Evaluate current HR workflows, processes, and transaction volume Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for greater efficiency Recommend ways to standardize, streamline, and automate HR processes Review HR transactions and trends to proactively identify potential issues Help improve shared inbox workflows, request routing, and escalation processes Support the development of best practices for a growing HR function Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Business Partners, and other HR teams Provide guidance and support to the team on complex requests and process improvements Qualifications Previous experience within HR Shared Services. Strong understanding of employee lifecycle transactions and HR processes Experience evaluating and improving high-volume HR workflows Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset Ability to identify exceptions, trends, and issues that require further review or escalation Experience partnering across multiple HR functions HRIS experience required;SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
