Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.05 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing foot traffic and answering general questions. Support order at the location by following post orders, communicating with supervisors and/or local agencies as needed, and preparing clear, accurate incident and activity reports. Minimum Requirements A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
