About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer to spearhead its capital raising efforts across various asset-backed investment strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and executing initiatives with institutional investors, family offices, and private wealth channels, with a focus on sectors involving tangible, cash-flowing assets. This role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in fundraising, capital raising, or investor relations, and a proven track record in securing capital for asset-backed or real-asset strategies. The Chief Development Officer will be tasked with developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective investors, clearly articulating investment strategies, and managing all aspects of the fundraising process, including due diligence and investor communications. Applicants for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should possess an established network of institutional investors and capital allocators, as well as a deep understanding of private markets and asset-backed investment structures. The role requires excellent communication and relationship management skills, and the ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. While not mandatory, a background in fundraising for real estate, energy, natural resources, or equipment-heavy operating platforms is highly preferred. Familiarity with private equity, credit, or hybrid capital strategies is also a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at partnering with internal teams to refine positioning, materials, and go-to-market strategies, and will be responsible for tracking fundraising activity, reporting, and investor engagement metrics.
