Teller - Part-time

About this Position The Teller is the face of LMCU, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming member experience while accurately processing a high volume of transactions. The role focuses on service excellence, member retention, and promoting LMCU’s products and services to help members meet their financial goals. What You’ll Do Member Experience – Promote a positive member experience through proactive engagement, build trusting relationships, identify and address member needs, offer guidance about products and services, provide friendly, professional, and efficient service, and resolve conflicts to ensure positive outcomes for members and LMCU. Transaction Processing and Cash Handling – Accurately perform teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, check ordering, wire requests) in accordance with LMCU policies. Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, employ risk management practices, identify fraud red flags, and ensure compliance with security protocols. Product Promotion/Growth – Apply in-depth knowledge of all LMCU products and services, present solutions that align with members’ financial goals, identify opportunities to refer members to appropriate products, and meet individual referral and service targets todrive branch growth. Learning & Development – Continuously improve knowledge of LMCU products, services, policies and systems through training and self‑development; stay current on branch systems, operations, and digital platforms to provide efficient service. What You’ll Bring One to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
