A QEL will be responsible of supporting and leading a range of quality assurance tasks by leveraging strong technical skills to collaborate into QA process improvement, using methods as test plans control, assisting on complex manual or automation tests and create or maintaining software testing automation solutions. The QES will be in charge of managing and leading other resources within his team or the craft.ResponsibilitiesKEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Create the architecture and maintain test automation frameworks using software development methodologies and defined technologies taking into consideration processes as CI CD and multiple environmentsCreate and maintain nonfunctional tests (ADA, security, performance, etc.)Work across teams under agile methodologies participating under the QA role actively, identifying requirements and analyzing design specifications with the team and communicating in English with technical and non-technical membersPerform QA technical testing tasks like API and database testing interpreting queries and database tables relationsCreate and track bugs defectsCreate manual test scenarios for automation test cases, identifying and prioritizing the ones who are most suitable for automation testing to achieve the best coverageSending status reports informing about status of the testing process, collecting metrics to measure efficiency of processes, results of tests and raising relevant priority issues and risksOrganize team allocation and participating actively into QA leadership or technology leadership meetingsCreate level of effort LOE estimatesOrganize and provide recommendations about trainings and material for resources, providing mentoring and guidance for team membersExpected client facing active communicationEnsure content and structure of testing artifacts is documented and maintained using the best practices for quality assurance automation solutions.Continuously learn about new technologies and self-driven to stay on top of the QA trending, to apply them on projects or furtherly participate in initiatives as mentoring and knowledge transfer sessions with the teamResearch and recommend the most effective technologies, approaches and strategies for QA Automation implementation across projectsReview and recommend improvements to existing QA processesPrioritize necessary tasks and tests for successful testing executionsIdentify and inform effectively about potential quality issues and risks on projectsAssist human resources team on recruitment processesMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:Own initiatives such as but not limited to creating, presenting workshops, employees career growth evaluations, all hands sessions etcActive member of the craft (assessments, job descriptions review, tests, Marcel SuperUsers, etc)Provide hands on support to the teamActively collaborate in recruiting and ramp up effortsActively participate in recruitment process and actively made recommendationsProven record of raising the bar with improvementsEffectively identify risks and provide recommendationsActively share postmortem lessons learned, trainings and communication with the team.Demonstrate business management and solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry.Demonstrate ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement.Contribute to process improvement and establishing process standardsInteract effectively with other teams members, Product Project Management, Delivery VP and Client directors.Communicates effectively and in a timely manner (Responds to emails and chats in a timely manner)Offer technical coaching to other team memberParticipate in the Performance program as a Performance managerAct like a main contact person for the discovery, design, recommendation, development, implementation, and ongoing support of client process workflowsQualifications• Software Engineering or a related degree• English B2+• Robust QA Automation development experience• 3+ year of Leadership experience• Create the architecture and maintain test automation frameworks using software development methodologies and defined technologies taking into consideration processes as CI CD and multiple environments• Fluency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript coding language(s) • Mastery of an automation tool, eg. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, or Git workflows CI/CD Pipelines• Experience creating manual test scenarios for automation test cases, identifying and prioritizing the most suitable for automation testing to achieve the best coverage• Ability to perform QA technical testing tasks like API and database testing interpreting queries and database table relations• Experience creating and maintain nonfunctional tests (ADA, security, performance, etc.)• Experience organizing team allocations and participating actively into QA leadership or technology leadership meetings• Knowlegeable creating estimates• Experience owning initiatives such as but not limited to creating, presenting workshops, employees career growth evaluations, all hands sessions
