Respiratory Therapist - Evenings/NOC

Hourly Pay Range $33.16 - $49.74 per hour, based on expertise and years of experience. Sign-On Bonus Potential up to $20,000 for full-time nights and $5,000 for full-time days. Shifts Available Full-time and PRN (8 and 12‑hour shift options) Days, evenings, and overnight shifts Weekend coverage options Sign‑on bonus potential up to $20,000 for full-time nights positions. Selected candidates will share location and shift preferences during interview. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians according to hospital policy and procedures. Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment. Document treatment, equipment maintenance, and quality control activities; transcribe verbal or phone orders by physicians. Communicate to patients and families the treatment being performed in a clear manner. Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patients. Provide patient and staff education. Qualifications Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry‑eligible status. State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment.
