Respiratory Therapist - Evenings/NOC

Hourly Pay and Sign‑on Bonus $33.16 - $49.74 per hour, based on experience. Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 for full‑time night shifts and $5,000 for full‑time day shifts. Shift Availability Flexible full‑time and PRN (8‑ and 12‑hour) options, including days, evenings, overnight, and weekend coverage. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians. Assess patients to determine the most suitable treatment method. Document treatment, equipment maintenance, quality control, and transcribe verbal or phone orders. Communicate treatment to patients and families clearly. Monitor patient physiological response, especially in pediatric and neonatal patients. Provide education to patients and staff. Qualifications Graduated from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CoARC). Registered Respiratory Therapist or proof of registry‑eligible status. State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment. Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
