Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated nursing professionals with experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to fill a 13-week contract position. The shift is scheduled for nights, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotation on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants and children in the NICU and PICU.
Deliver high-quality patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Participate in family education and support during critical care of patients.

Qualifications

Active nursing license in Illinois.
Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
Prior clinical experience in NICU and PICU settings is required.
Less than 2 years of experience may be accepted.
Nursys verification must be attached upon submission.

Additional Information

This position requires the ability to float between units and a willingness to work on weekends. Please prepare for a module training that may take an average of 8 hours, with some specialties potentially requiring up to 20 hours of additional training.
