Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential: Required
• State Respiratory Therapist license: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Preferred
• Preferred experience: Two years recent experience in the field
• Must have EMR experience and neonatal experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess and document the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy for patients.
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy, maintaining accurate records.
• Perform arterial blood gas draws according to policy and physician orders.
• Provide care and support to ventilator patients.
• Assist with departmental record keeping and operations.
• Participate in training and supervision of new employees.
