Job Summary and Responsibilities

In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Role:

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

One year experience as an RN

Bachelors of Nursing Degree (24 month grace period)

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

BLS with skills demonstration

NRP and STBL in 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

Three or more years of RN NICU Level III experience

Bachelors in Nursing Preferred

The Woodlands Hospital provides expertise in a broad range of services, including heart care, neurology, sports medicine, diagnostic imaging, women's services, neurosciences, pediatric care (Level III NICU) surgery, pathology, pulmonary care and sleep disorders. Our clinical affiliations include Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Heart® Institute, The Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Texas Children's Hospital. St. Luke's Health - Lakeside Hospital is a joint hospital dedicated to serving The Woodlands community.
