Marketing Manager

Job Description

1. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to serve as a strategic leader and key contributor within our Sales and Marketing team. In this highly visible leadership role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing our overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.

You will oversee cross-functional marketing initiatives, manage resources and budgets, and ensure seamless alignment between marketing strategies, sales initiatives, and overarching business objectives. This role requires regular, professional interaction with executive leadership, internal functional teams, outside vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Campaign Management

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Own and drive marketing initiatives end-to-end, from concept through execution.
• Partner with executive leadership, engineering, operations, and sales teams to align marketing efforts with business development goals.
• Lead the development, delivery, and optimization of all creative and technical marketing content.
• Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to internal marketing staff and external vendors.

Digital Marketing & Brand Management

• Ensure brand positioning, messaging, and product information remain consistent and competitive across all platforms.
• Own company website strategy, performance, and vendor relationships (including web developers, designers, and material vendors).
• Apply advanced digital marketing strategies (SEO, analytics, campaign tracking) to continuously improve performance and ROI.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize new marketing channels, tools, and technologies.
• Oversee and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social platforms.

Collateral & Product Marketing

• Oversee the creation, updating, and document revisions of product data sheets, catalogs, and technical marketing materials.
• Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, pricing strategies, and market positioning to inform key business decisions.
• Oversee the production, inventory management, and timely delivery of promotional materials.

Trade Shows & Event Management

• Lead the planning, execution, and logistics for trade shows, industry events, and corporate marketing initiatives.
• Define messaging, establish event schedules, assign team roles, and track total ROI for all trade shows and events.
• Coordinate and occasionally attend industry trade shows and business meetings to establish contacts and identify growth opportunities.

Budgeting, Analytics & Database Management

• Own and manage the marketing budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
• Oversee and maintain marketing databases, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
• Develop, analyze, and present marketing performance reports (including campaign ROI and sales alignment) to executive leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated ownership of campaigns and strategies.
• B2B Experience: Strong understanding of B2B marketing (preferably within manufacturing or OEM environments).
• Technical & Digital Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to develop data-driven strategies and translate raw data into actionable insights.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, and intensive deadlines independently.
• Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally for trade shows and customer meetings as needed.
• Eligibility: Legally authorized to work in the US, with the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred (Non-Essential) Qualifications

• Technical or engineering background.
• Prior experience working directly in an OEM or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Prior leadership or team management experience.
• Fluency or ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, and stoop in office and manufacturing environments. Day-to-day duties include operating standard office equipment, hand/power tools, and lifting/moving materials up to 50 lbs individually (and heavier loads with assistance). Ability to lift, move, erect, install, and assemble event/marketing components.
• Mental Demands: Ability to solve complex/non-routine problems, exercise independent judgment, synthesize detailed data, and manage demanding or frustrated customer interactions professionally.
• Travel: Includes domestic and international travel by car and air, including overnight stays.
