Summary

This is an entry-level to junior-level Quality Control Associate / QC Laboratory Analyst position supporting laboratory testing and routine QC activities in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The QC Analyst will follow established procedures and instructions from the QC team while supporting the analysis of work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, ad hoc samples, and customer requests. This position is well suited for recent graduates with academic laboratory experience who are looking to begin a career in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC laboratory testing of work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods in accordance with approved procedures and instructions.
• Support ad hoc laboratory analyses and customer-requested testing as assigned.
• Follow established SOPs, test methods, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements.
• Accurately record and document laboratory results and observations in accordance with GMP and good documentation practices.
• Assist QC team members with laboratory activities, sample handling, preparation, and analysis.
• Support investigation of unexpected or out-of-specification results by following established procedures and escalating issues to appropriate QC personnel.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements.
• Support routine QC team activities and other laboratory duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with QC and other cross-functional teams to support timely completion of testing and laboratory activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Recent graduate or early-career candidate with academic laboratory experience.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices, sample handling, and analytical testing.
• Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, and detailed instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Basic understanding of GMP/GLP principles is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet testing timelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
