Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

Job Description

Otaliems LLC is seeking reliable, compassionate, and professional drivers to join our growing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, treatment centers, hospitals, and other healthcare-related destinations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely transport clients to scheduled appointments in a timely manner
Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, dispatchers, and healthcare staff
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum age requirement: [Insert Age Requirement]
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and driving record check
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Experience in transportation, healthcare, or customer service preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
Knowledge of local roads and GPS navigation
