About This Role

A dedicated childcare teacher plays a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This involves designing and implementing engaging activities, nurturing positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth.

As a childcare teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing a nurturing environment that encourages social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior.

You will also be expected to maintain high standards of health, hygiene, and safety, including diapering, feeding, first aid, sanitation, and incident reporting.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing classroom routines, transitions, and materials, as well as organizing learning spaces to promote effective learning.

Collaboration with colleagues and external professionals, such as specialists and early intervention experts, will also be an essential aspect of this role.

Basic first aid/CPR and safe sleep knowledge (depending on age group).

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be 18 years old

Flexibility, teamwork, and problem-solving under busy, changing conditions are highly valued in this role.
