POSITIONOVERVIEW

TheConstructionSchedulerisresponsiblefordeveloping,maintaining,andmonitoringprojectschedulesforcommercialdrywall,framing,acousticalceilings,specialtyceilings,andrelatedconstructionprojects.Thisroleworkscloselywithprojectmanagers,superintendents,fieldleadership,subcontractors,vendors,andclientstoensureprojectsareplannedeffectively,resourcesareproperlyallocated,andmilestonesareachievedontime. Theidealcandidatepossessesstrongschedulingexpertise,constructionknowledge,andtheabilitytocoordinatemultipleprojectsinafast-pacedenvironmentwhilesupportingsuccessfulprojectdelivery.

ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

ProjectSchedulingandPlanning Developdetailedbaselineschedulesfordrywall,metalframing,acousticalceilings,specialtyceilings,andfinishingactivities. Createandmaintainprojecttimelinesfrompreconstructionthroughprojectcloseout. Identifyprojectmilestones,criticalpathactivities,andresourcerequirements. Establishshort-termandlong-termschedulestosupportfieldoperations. Updateprojectschedulesregularlybasedonfieldprogressandchangingprojectconditions. ProjectCoordination Collaboratewithprojectmanagers,superintendents,estimators,andfieldteamstodeveloprealisticprojectschedules. Coordinatemanpowerplanningandworkforceallocationacrossmultipleprojects. Monitorsubcontractor,supplier,andmaterialdeliveryschedules. Assistinidentifyingscheduleconflictsandrecommendcorrectiveactions. Participateinprojectmeetingsandprovidescheduleupdatestointernalandexternalstakeholders. ProgressMonitoringandReporting Trackactualprogressagainstplannedschedules. Produceweeklyandmonthlyschedulereports. Analyzeschedulevariancesandcommunicatepotentialimpactstoprojectleadership. Maintainscheduledocumentationandhistoricalprojectdata. Supportdelayanalysisandrecoveryscheduledevelopmentwhennecessary. ResourceManagement Coordinatelaborforecastingandmanpowerrequirements. Workwithoperationsleadershiptooptimizecrewutilizationacrossprojects. Monitorequipment,material,andsubcontractoravailability. Assistwithworkforceplanningtosupportprojectdeadlines. RiskManagement Identifyschedulerisksanddevelopmitigationstrategies. Evaluateimpactsofchangeorders,delays,andunforeseensiteconditions. Supportrecoveryplanningtomaintainprojectmilestonesandcompletiondates. Promoteproactivecommunicationtominimizeprojectdisruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,Engineering,Architecture,orrelatedfieldpreferred. Equivalentconstructionschedulingexperiencewillbeconsidered. 3-7+yearsofconstructionschedulingexperience. Experiencewithcommercialdrywall,metalframing,acousticalceilings,specialtyceilings,orinteriorsystemspreferred. Experiencesupportingmultiplecommercialconstructionprojectssimultaneously. ProficiencywithMicrosoftProject,PrimaveraP6,orotherschedulingsoftware. Strongknowledgeofcriticalpathschedulingmethods. ProficiencyinMicrosoftExcel,Word,andOutlook. FamiliaritywithconstructionmanagementsoftwaresuchasProcore,AutodeskConstructionCloud,Viewpoint,orsimilarplatforms. Understandingofcommercialconstructionsequencingandtradecoordination. Knowledgeofdrywall,framing,finishing,andceilinginstallationprocesses. Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingabilities. Excellentorganizationalandtimemanagementskills. Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills. Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithfieldandofficeteams. Detail-orientedwiththeabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities.
