As a therapist at CenterWell Home Health, you will help patients regain strength, mobility and independence-all from the comfort of their homes. By delivering personalized care that focuses on rehabilitation and functional improvement, you'll empower individuals to overcome limitations, perform everyday activities with confidence and enjoy a better quality of life. You will report to the Clinical Manager.

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

• Use professional skills and judgment in evaluating and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions

• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and applications of therapeutic treatments including audio logic screening

• Submit evaluation, treatment plans, progress reports and discharge summary to the supervisor and care management staff

• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning activities and act as a resource to other health care personnel in meeting patient's needs

• Provide instruction and training to patients in use of alternative communication systems when appropriate

• Provide counsel and instruction to patients, families and healthcare staff

Required Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina

• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

• Current CPR certification

• Home Health experience

Pay Range

$49.00 - $69.00 pay per visit/unit

$77,200 - $106,200 per year base pay

Additional Information

Driving Statement

You will be a part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore will need a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits.

TB Statement

You will be patient facing, therefore apart of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to undergo TB screening.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$85,400 - $117,500 per year
