Grade 2 Teacher, Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School, Montgomery County Second Grade Teacher – Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Second Grade Teacher who is committed to academic excellence and dedicated to forming young disciples of Christ. Second grade is a special year in our school community as students prepare to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with diocesan curriculum standards. Prepare students spiritually and academically for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in collaboration with the parish and families. Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and Gospel values throughout daily instruction. Foster a classroom environment rooted in kindness, respect, and academic excellence. Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents. Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parish staff. Participate in school Masses, prayer services, faculty meetings, and school events. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom. Qualifications Must be a practicing Catholic committed to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church. Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (Master's degree preferred). Pennsylvania teaching certification (or eligibility). Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
