Essential Functions & Responsibilities

The Outsourced Accounting Associate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting support by processing transactional data, assisting with reconciliation, and maintaining organized financial records for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions (AP/AR/Payroll where applicable)
• Complete routine reconciliations and support month-end close
• Maintain accurate records
• Organize documentation
• Prepare routine reports
• Follow established procedures
• Communicate known discrepancies or issues to Senior Associate(s)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate degree or relevant certification would be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero and Bill.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary $40,000- $45,000 based on experience.
