Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 5x8.0 schedule.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician instructions. The therapist is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for their assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective returns to community activities. They serve as educators for patients, families, students, and coworkers while upholding professional standards and compliance with the organizational code of conduct.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Participate in the student program as needed, providing supervision and development of learning objectives.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
