Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Confidential Vice President of Sales and Marketing Location: Charlotte, NC Metro A global leader in advanced engineering solutions seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead and expand sales operations across key US market segments. This confidential position reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with leadership to execute global strategies, develop local and national business objectives, and deliver profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement sales strategies to drive top-line revenue growth in core industries. Maintain and build strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and intimacy. Analyze emerging market conditions to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate potential threats. Ensure full alignment with corporate standards, vision, and strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-regionally within a matrix global organization. Oversee execution of sales strategies for new product launches and ensure integration within the business model. Develop and manage budgets, short-term and long-term business plans alongside executive leadership. Lead a team of 10+ direct reports and total of 75-80 people across the country, providing coaching and ensuring adherence to key KPI measures. Provide insight into market trends and evolving customer needs, ensuring ongoing competitive advantage. Drive operational excellence by evaluating and improving sales processes, financial performance, and collaborating closely with headquarters. Emphasize internal collaboration with operations, sales, and management to ensure integrated business solutions. Enhance marketing impact, manage lead generation, e-commerce, and sharpen go-to-market strategies. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or related field; MBA preferred. At least 15 years’ experience in sales, ideally in technology-driven or technical industries. Minimum of 10 years in sales management, including experience leading organizations in the US. Demonstrated ability in P&L and SG&A management, analytics, and managing both direct and distribution sales channels. Experience working within a global company and across different cultures. Proven ability to influence senior leadership, manage conflict constructively, and develop future leaders.
