Job Description: The Part-Time Junior Administrative Assistant / Mailroom Clerk will primarily be responsible for managing incoming company mail and providing general administrative support. The position will also assist with occasional shipping, filing, scanning, and document-related projects, as well as supporting a short-term office clearance project. Key Responsibilities: Collect, open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming company mail Ensure time-sensitive correspondence is routed to the appropriate individuals or departments Receive and organize occasional equipment and supply shipments Assist with filing, scanning, shredding, and general administrative tasks Prepare and package boxes for shipment to an off-site storage location Handle and organize filing and storage boxes as needed Provide on-site support during an office clearance project, including several full days of coverage Follow established security, confidentiality, and compliance procedures Communicate professionally with internal teams and ask questions when clarification is needed Maintain an organized and professional work environment Qualifications: At least 1 year of administrative, mailroom, office services, or related experience Previous experience managing company mail strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working independently with limited supervision Professional, dependable, and reliable Comfortable lifting and moving filing or storage boxes Able to follow detailed procedures related to security and confidentiality Flexible and available to work full days when needed for special projects Comfortable using basic office technology and completing online training Additional Details: The position is expected to begin in early October.
