Lutheran Medical Group in Fort Wayne, Indiana , is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join an established, hospital-employed practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a busy practice with an immediate patient base as part of a planned physician succession. Position Highlights

\n

\n
• Treat a broad range of endocrine disorders including:
\n
\n
• Diabetes & Metabolism
\n
• Thyroid Disorders
\n
• Pituitary Disorders
\n
• Adrenal Disorders
\n
• Osteoporosis & Bone Health
\n
• Reproductive Endocrinology
\n
\n
• Average patient volume of 18–25 patients per day
\n
• Manage insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
\n
• Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration experience preferred but not required
\n
• Open-access clinic scheduling with new patient appointments typically available within one week
\n
• Dedicated endocrinology clinic utilizing Cerner EMR
\n
• Collaborative care model with:
\n
\n
• Five Advanced Practice Providers supporting the service line
\n
• Three Nurse Practitioners assisting with call coverage
\n
• Certified Diabetes Educator
\n
• Registered Dietitian support
\n
• Dedicated nursing and medical assistant support
\n
• Hospitalist support for admissions
\n
• Bariatric surgery and thyroid surgery collaboration
\n
\n
• Strong referral base from 54 primary care providers serving Northeast Indiana, Northwest Ohio, and Southern Michigan
\n

Call Coverage

\n

\n
• Primarily phone call only
\n
• Serve as backup support for Advanced Practice Providers
\n
• Less than one after-hours call per week on average
\n
• Minimal weekend responsibilities
\n

• Competitive base salary with productivity (wRVU) incentive
