Senior Transportation Data Analyst (Part-Time)

We're seeking a Senior Transportation Data Analyst to join our Atlanta, Georgia team and support transportation projects across the Southeast. In this role, you'll help deliver data-driven insights for street, highway, and multimodal infrastructure projects that enhance mobility and strengthen communities throughout Georgia.

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to transform complex transportation data into actionable project insights that support informed decision-making. Your contributions will help advance critical infrastructure programs, strengthen client partnerships with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and other agencies, and support the continued growth of our transportation data and analytics capabilities across Georgia and the Southeast.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams to organize, analyze, and interpret data for urban and rural transportation projects

• Develop data-driven insights that help inform project decisions and address client and community needs

• Partner with digital teams to create accessible data and analytics solutions for clients and stakeholders

• Document analytical approaches, findings, and recommendations to support project delivery and decision-making

• Mentor and support the technical development of junior analysts and designers

• Contribute to transportation data analytics initiatives that support project and practice growth

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Statistics, Geography, or a related degree from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent)

• 15 or more years of experience delivering data analysis insights for mid- to large-scale transportation projects for GDOT or other state Departments of Transportation

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and project phases

Ideally, you'll also have

• Working knowledge of GDOT data standards and processes, as well as local municipal criteria in Georgia

• Experience gathering data from multiple sources, including GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or QGIS

• Established relationships with GDOT staff, local agencies, and transportation stakeholders throughout Georgia
