Laredo Animal Clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a Multi-Doctor team! Job Summary: In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing Doctor and supports the medical staff. This individual advances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients. Job Responsibilities: Build rapport with clients by listening to their concerns. Perform high‑quality examinations and procedures while minimizing patient stress. Communicate with clients about pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and health care. Maintain accurate medical and surgical records and logs. Stay updated on new veterinary information and practices. Assist in developing the paraprofessional team for quality care and service. Promote a positive image of the hospital to the community. Skills and Basic Qualifications: Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program. DVM licensure in good standing to practice in Texas. Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
