Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent):

• Support the Compliance Business Partner in proactively identifying, assessing, and addressing compliance risks within assigned business areas and escalate emerging concerns appropriately.
• Identify emerging compliance trends, issues, and business risks and escalate significant concerns to Compliance leadership as appropriate.
• Own defined compliance projects and workstreams from initiation through completion, including developing workplans, coordinating stakeholders, tracking deliverables, and escalating issues that may affect timely completion.
• Drive timely responses to routine compliance questions and business requests, providing practical, risk-based guidance within established parameters and escalating matters requiring additional expertise or judgment.
• Research applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry developments and summarize relevant implications for assigned business areas and topics for review by Compliance leadership.
• Monitor regulatory and industry developments and support implementation activities needed to address new or changing compliance requirements.
• Develop, update, coordinate, and deliver routine compliance training and communications tailored to specific business audiences, and support tracking and follow-up of training requirements.
• Support compliance risk assessments by gathering and analyzing relevant business information, identifying potential risks and control gaps, and compiling materials and findings for review.
• Track compliance issues, corrective actions, and remediation commitments through resolution, coordinating with business owners to promote timely completion and escalating overdue or unresolved matters
• Support compliance reviews, investigations, and corrective action activities by gathering information, coordinating stakeholders, documenting findings, and tracking remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Clinical, and other functions on compliance-related initiatives and help integrate compliance considerations into business processes and projects.
• Support compliance review of new business initiatives, process changes, and operational projects by identifying potential compliance considerations and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders to support proactive compliance engagement and problem-solving
• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Compliance program initiatives within assigned business areas, including facilitating adoption of policies, procedures, controls, and risk mitigation activities.
• Support the Compliance Operations team with updating and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, guidance, resources, and business-facing materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of Compliance processes and tools.
• Prepare reports, presentations, summaries, and other materials supporting compliance governance, risk oversight, and leadership communications.
• Respond to day-to-day questions from business teams and direct them to the appropriate resources.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare compliance, healthcare operations, legal/regulatory affairs, risk management, auditing, pharmacy, nursing, revenue cycle, or a related healthcare function.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare compliance, healthcare operations, legal/regulatory affairs, risk management, auditing, pharmacy, nursing, revenue cycle, or a related healthcare function.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry guidance, including Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and applicable OIG guidance.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and interpreting regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and business practices to identify compliance risks and considerations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate compliance concepts clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, and appropriately escalate issues requiring additional review or guidance.
• Experience participating in risk assessments, compliance reviews, investigations, audits, corrective action activities, or similar compliance initiatives.

Physical Demand Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements: (if required)

• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

• Experience in healthcare compliance, specialty pharmacy, infusion services, nursing, revenue cycle, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated healthcare environments.
• Experience supporting compliance programs, training initiatives, policy management, monitoring activities, investigations, or remediation efforts.
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or willingness to pursue certification.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $70,218.51-$117,008.35
