Maintenance Technician | $25-$28/HR | Full-Time | Omaha, NE Earn Up to $28/Hour Based on Experience!

Looking for a stable career with a respected property management team? We're hiring a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems, working independently, and keeping a community running smoothly.

Location: Omaha, NE

Pay: $25 - $28 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs

Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently

Respond to resident service requests and maintenance work orders

Complete apartment turns, inspections, and move-in preparations

Maintain community grounds, common areas, and building systems

Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests

Update and track completed work orders using maintenance software

What We're Looking For

Experience in apartment, building, facility, or property maintenance

Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong customer service and communication skills

Must have your own basic hand tools

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
