Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – MICU, traveling to Philadelphia, PA for a travel temporary assignment. Start date 06/29/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range of $2,182–$2,404 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift pattern is three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) each week in an inpatient MICU/acute care setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing in MICU, including management of ventilated and high-acuity patients
- Monitor hemodynamics, respiratory status, and neurologic status; administer medications and IV infusions per protocol
- Perform focused patient assessments, respond promptly to changes in condition, and implement multidisciplinary care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing teammates; participate in rounds; document care accurately in EPIC EMR
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, uphold infection control practices, and provide family education and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing (state licensure to practice in Pennsylvania or as required for this assignment)
- BSN degree required
- Minimum 2 years MICU ICU experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- Previous contract/travel experience preferred
- Ability to work all three shifts each week; Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
- RTO requests must be able to work all 3 shifts each week for the contract period
