Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity emergency department, ensuring prompt, efficient, and compassionate treatment for diverse patient needs. Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity. Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and responses, documenting accordingly in the EMR. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans. Perform procedures such as port placements, chest tube management, and use of advanced equipment like ventilators and BiPAP. Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols. Qualifications: Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency nursing. Demonstrated proficiency in ER procedures and emergency interventions. Strong time management, de-escalation skills, and ability to work under pressure. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment.
