About the Position

Job Title: Rehabilitation - General Rehabilitation Profession: Rehabilitation Specialty: General Rehabilitation Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required License - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRp Certifications: RRT or CRT accepted Must-Have: Experience with critical/ICU patients ABG draws Weaning and extubating patients Vent management BiPAP and CPAP management Nebulizer administration Description: This position involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics. The role includes inpatient, emergency department, and ICU/critical care responsibilities. You will be expected to provide care for patients including those undergoing deliveries and open heart surgery. The department is supported by registered nurses on the unit and rapid response/code teams. You will work alongside other respiratory therapists and departmental leadership. Experience in placing arterial lines and intubation is preferred. NICU experience and assisting with deliveries are also preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems and specific respiratory equipment is necessary. You may be required to float to various units within the facility, including the emergency room. Professional appearance is required, with solid color scrubs preferred.
