This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated corporate and transactional matters within a collaborative and growing business practice serving middle-market and national clients across a broad range of industries. The firm is seeking a team-oriented associate with strong corporate transactional experience who is interested in handling complex business matters and taking on meaningful client-facing responsibility. The Role Associates in this position may work on matters involving: Mergers & acquisitions Corporate governance and entity formation Financing and restructuring transactions Strategic joint ventures General business and commercial transactions Divestitures and corporate reorganizations Fund formation matters Ongoing outside general counsel advisory work for business clients Attorneys will work closely with business owners, private companies, investors, lenders, and management teams on sophisticated transactional matters. Ideal Background 4+ years of corporate and transactional experience Experience handling sophisticated M&A and business transactions Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills Experience with financing, restructuring, and governance matters preferred Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials Ohio Bar admission required or ability to waive in Why This Opportunity Sophisticated middle-market and national transactional platform Significant client-facing responsibility and hands-on deal experience Collaborative and collegial team environment Strong long-term growth and partnership-track potential Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Compensation: $190,000–$300,000 DOE Interested candidates should submit a resume and deal sheet for confidential consideration.
