This position is On-Site in Frederick, MD!

Essential Job Duties:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders in various departments to translate complex business activities into robust data models that power downstream business intelligence tools, reporting, and analytics.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Script well-performing queries in SQL and conduct UAT on database objects for use in downstream analytics.
• Perform research on the root cause of data anomalies uncovered through the normal course of analysis and provide solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and industry trends related to all current ThompsonGas data systems to propose enhancements and improve data warehousing capabilities.
• Resolve tickets about data or performance issues related to Business Intelligence deliverables and systems.
• Participate in multiple enterprise-wide projects by providing data expertise to project leaders.
• Create clear and comprehensive internal documentation for data processes, methodologies, and systems, ensuring that technical information is accessible and understandable for all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide support and training to team members to enhance their ability to utilize data in reporting.
• Collaborate with IT department in maintenance on SQL Server, Azure Synapse, SAP Datasphere, and all other ThompsonGas data management software.
• Assist in maintenance and monitoring of data security within ThompsonGas data warehousing ecosystem.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4+ years of comparable industry experience.
• A solid understanding of Relational Databases, Data Warehousing, and ETL concepts required.
• Advanced SQL development experience required.
• Python development experience preferred.
• Experience with Azure Synapse preferred.
• Experience in SAP Datasphere is a plus.
• Ability to assess and learn new data processing and management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An understanding of the Propane industry is a plus!
