Step into a dynamic therapy role supporting students across a large, highly regarded district in the southwest Houston area. This full-time, on-site contract position is available immediately and extends through the end of May 2027, providing impactful services to K–12 students on a diverse, district-wide caseload.

The district seeks a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a collaborative team supporting 160 students, with direct services for 50. The caseload is shared with a second PT, and highly qualified Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) with substantial school or pediatric experience will be considered as a strong alternative. This position spans 50 campuses, with the district office serving as a convenient home base; regular travel to campus sites is required.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Active Texas Physical Therapy license (PT or PTA)
• Multiple years of school-based or pediatric experience (required for PTAs)
• Knowledge of Frontline and SuccessEd documentation platforms preferred
• Clear history with no prior employment with the district
• No previous terminations from any school district (required district affidavit)
• State fingerprinting/background clearance (existing prints in system a plus)
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and district-wide caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services for K–12 students
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Complete timely documentation and maintain compliance with district protocols
• Travel to assigned campuses within the district as needed
