Step into a dynamic educational setting supporting students across K-12 as a school-based Physical Therapist (PT), with an immediate start date through late May 2027. This full-time contract offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with another PT, sharing a manageable caseload of 160 students, 50 of whom receive direct services across a wide-reaching district on the southwest side of the Houston area.

Your main office will be at the district location, providing an organized home base as you collaborate with staff on up to 50 campuses. Your expertise will help students achieve their physical potential in an inclusive, supportive atmosphere.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Active Texas PT license required
• State fingerprinting and background check completion
• School-based or pediatric experience highly desired, especially for PTA candidates with multiple years in similar settings
• Proficiency with Frontline and SuccessEd documentation platforms
• Positive, flexible mindset for serving diverse student needs

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, direct therapy, and consult with educational teams for students K-12
• Collaborate with a fellow PT to efficiently split the assigned caseload
• Maintain thorough, accurate records and comply with district documentation systems
• Support students at various campuses, with driving required (district office serves as home base)
• Uphold high professional and ethical standards, especially regarding student confidentiality and safety protocols
